The not so traditional watch – Samsung Galaxy Watch
For a couple of weeks I’ve been trying out the Samsung Galaxy watch and wanted to give you guys a short review of my thoughts on the watch. Usually more traditional when it comes to watches and most of the time I prefer to wear a mechanical watch. All though the new smart watches is equipped with features impossible to get in a mechanical watch. The features I’ve used the most is getting all notices in the watch such as messages, emails, hearth ratio and more without having to take your phone up. But what I actually liked most about the watch is keeping track of my training goals both during workouts but also while running or biking around town between meetings. The watch have a smart function where you can put up your individual everyday goals including calorie burning, steps taken and when it’s time to stand up after too many hours in front of the computer at work.
With that said it’s hard to compare the looks of a smart watch with for instance a vintage watch when it comes to aesthetics and design. I would still every day of the week, wear a mechanical watch before a smart watch if it all comes down to the look, history and sentimental value but while doing physical activities or if you are more in to functions than looks the smart watch is impossible to beat.
You’ll find the watch here.
